Hey, this is kinda off-topic, but still relevant to drawings, but when you scan your drawings into Photoshop, do you fiddle around with the levels and color balance at all to bring out the colors more fully, or do you just leave it as it is?
As for scanning, it's inherent that the colours are a little washed out when you scan them, I normally add 10% contrast and 7% saturation to bring out the colours fully. I could add more, layer the piece, and put all sorts of filters on it, but I want my pieces to look as they do in real life. What you see here is as close to the actual drawing as you'll get.
Ah, so that's how you do it. Maybe I should try that (10% contrast, 7% saturation) next time I scan a traditionally-colored drawing. Thanks.
